The Black Label Society version is almost completely different both musically and lyrically but both do share the same basic chorus lyrics.

Hard and heavy, big on riffs and even bigger on the solos, BLS is the ~censored~ child of Black Sabbath only pumped up on steroids. Daft Punk – Discovery (2001) @320kbps

Amazon.com’s Best of 2001
The French twosome behind Daft Punk, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel De Homem-Christo, get away with an awful lot. They go around impersonating aliens and robots in their interviews, they put records out only once every three years, and they make music that evokes a million other artists–while not really sounding like any of them. The keyboard noodlings of Jean-Michel Jarre are in there somewhere, along with the otherworldly imagery and giant hooks of ’70s rock icons like Boston or even Electric Light Orchestra. There are dashes of 1999-era Prince and oodles of new wave and disco cheese, from Harold Faltermeyer and Gary Numan to the Bee Gees, all set off with efficient house beats. So how have they managed to position themselves as electronic music’s next great crossover artists? On Discovery, the follow-up to the 1998 worldwide smash Homework, the answer is obvious: they have no shame, and they know how to make us dance.
Starting off with the irresistibly hummable “One More Time,” the record blows through a head-spinning array of styles and samples, creating a pop-culture stew of funky loops and dance-floor anthems. “Aerodynamic” eschews breakbeats for an Yngwie Malmsteen-ish guitar interlude that somehow ends up meshing in a crazy blend of stomping bass lines and hyped-up harmonics. “Digital Love” starts off silly and gets sillier, but the monosyllabic lyrics lull the senses just right, allowing the song’s summery groove to grab hold with authority. “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” is a resounding standout amidst the retro/Vocoder deluge that transpired after Cher’s Believe turned the kitchy disco device into a worldwide pop music trend, spinning a clever groove around an ever-escalating string of computerized seduction. Everywhere on the record, gigantic beats are dropped with pinpoint precision, giving songs a momentum that transforms repetitive melodies into sudden revelations. The record’s only misstep, the aptly named “Short Circuit” utilizes a keyboard riff that is nails-on-a-chalkboard awful, but it can’t keep this from being one of the best records of 2001. –Matthew Cooke

The world and it’s dog did their ‘MTV Unplugged’. David St. Hubbins had his
collection of acoustic numbers with the London Philharmonic. Bernie Winters had
Schnorbitz. And, at long last, here is the Oceansize equivalent, the ‘Home And
Minor’ EP.Fear not, Oceansize haven’t gone acoustic. There are no ‘More Than Words’
moments to be found here. Indeed, there’s not even actually any acoustic guitar
anywhere on it. Moreover, this is a short (*1) collection of our more ’settled’
numbers. More reserved, with not a distortion pedal in sight (*2), this lovely
EP is a realisation of a plan that’s been kicking around our collective brains
since before we were signed in 2002. Where in the past we’ve crowbarred-in every
single dynamic, idea and style we could think of into a record, we thought it
best this time to present a more thematic and cohesive collection, so’s not to
disrupt the more fainted-hearted listener from their blub-induced slumber.Still, it covers plenty of ground, and features a fair few Oceansize firsts such
as trumpets, pedal-steel guitar as well as a bit of pumping techno (*3) and some
additional vocals from Kate Ray. It is also the first Oceansize record to be
made in our own as-yet-unnamed studio in Manchester.Does this mean Oceansize have finally grown old, knackered, and are necking
pints of Horlicks and taking on unhealthy interest in the dog? No, not a bit of
it. We are currently holed up in our little bubble, writing ~censored~ reams and
reams of material for our next album, some of which is our loudest and most
fruity yet. But that’s all in the future….Oceansize is still -

ten times.
*3 – Pumping QUIETLY, of course.

Following the multi-platinum, worldwide success of their major-label
debut, Fallen, Evanescence is poised to build upon their respected
position in the rock community with their sophomore effort, The Open
Door, from Wind-up Records in stores October 3, 2006.With what some call a meteoric rise to the top, Fallen brought the
Little Rock, Arkansas band to global success with 14 million records
in the hands of fans worldwide, two Top 10 singles, “My Immortal”
and “Bring Me To Life,” two Grammy® Awards in 2003 (Best New Artist
and Best Hard Rock Performance for “Bring Me To Life”). Fallen spent
over one hundred weeks on Billboard Magazine’s Top 200 chart, was
certified gold or platinum in over 35 countries Worldwide, and
supported sold-out arenas globally. The Open Door was recorded in Los Angeles at The Record Plant in
early 2006 and mixed at the venerable Ocean Way Studios in March
2006. It includes the return of long-time friend and producer Dave
Fortman (Mudvayne, Bif Naked). The new album is an ideal showcase
for the band’s inevitable personal and professional growth, with
songs of introspection, longing, doubt, self-respect and
ultimately, empowerment and anticipation. Several songs include a
choir, as well as strings recorded in an old chapel. The album is
defined by Amy Lee’s beautiful melodies, profound lyrics, stunning
vocals and poignant piano, which fuse with Terry Balsamo’s urgent,
yet intricate guitar playing, to form a remarkable, ethereal blend
perfectly rooted in the band’s rock and classical sensibilities.“The making of this record has been really intense, but I’ve come
out feeling purified,” shared Lee. “I’ve grown so much since
‘Fallen,’ and Terry is the perfect writing partner — I feel like
I’ve been lifted up to a whole new level of inspiration and
possibilities. After all the things we’ve seen over the past couple
of years, beautiful and tragic, in the end I’m really grateful. It
has made us create music I could not be more in love with.”Evanescence is Amy Lee (vocals, piano), Terry Balsamo (guitar),
John LeCompt (guitar), Will Boyd (bass) and Rocky Gray (drums).
Formed in the late ’90s, Evanescence released two EPs and their
first full-length album, the much-sought-after Origin, which
included “My Immortal,” on their own before finding a home at
Wind-up Records. Fallen, their major-label debut, was released in
April 2003 to critical and commercial success and is certified 6x
platinum. Anywhere But Home, their 2004 live DVD release, has sold
over 1 million copies. For more information, please visit

Mp3 // CBR 192 Kbps //64.5 Mb
Joe ~censored~’s debut built on the promise of the title track,a hit single the previous year, which had introduced the world to the singer’s astonishing blues rasp of a voice and remains to this day one of the finest Beatles cover versions committed to vinyl. The vocal pyrotechnics of that song are muted on the rest of the album, with ~censored~ demonstrating hisfine handling of more subtle material such as Bob Dylan’s “Just Like A Woman” and “I Shall Be Released”. Backed by his own seasoned Grease Band and session players Jimmy Page and Steve Winwood, ~censored~ sings with a soulful intensity that shone all too briefly during his wayward career.
